LAVANDER BLOSSOMS
1 stick butter
1 egg
1/2 cup lavander sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons lavander blossoms
1
cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Cream butter and sugar. Mix in egg then add lavander
blossoms.
Mix: flour, baking soda and salt; add butter to the mixture
Drop dough by the teaspoon onto ungreased cookie
sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
ROSE GERANIUM TEA BREAD

tablespoons butter softened
1 cup rose geranium sugar
3/4 cup milk
2 cups flour
2 eggs (room temperature)
1
tablespoon lemon zest
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
Cream butter; gradually add sugar beating
until light. Add eggs one at a time and mix well. Add lemon zest.
Stir together: flour, baking powder and salt.
Add butter mixture alternately with milk. Mix just until blended. Pour into buttered 9x5 loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for
50 minutes.
GLAZE
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
juice from 1 lemon
1 tablespoon lemon balm or verbena leaves (minced)
Mix
and pour over warm tea bread.
